We were talking about the need for a test suite and then Hirano Kazunari pointed us to this project. We maintain a list of applications along with their level of support: http://drupal.opendocumentfoundation.org/applications/intro You don't mind if we use your test suite for this, right? I just thought you'd like to know that we'd like to use your work. I also have a question: How do you create these documents? A problem we found is that if we use any current product (e.g. OpenOffice) to make the documents we would bias the test in favour of that document. How do you get around this? Cheers, Daniel. -- /\/`) http://opendocumentfellowship.org /\/_/ /\/_/ ...and starting today, all passwords must contain \/_/ letters, numbers, doodles, sign language and / squirrel noises. You are right that the dangers of the exclusive use of the OpenOffice. The technique we are using is that even if the test was originally created in OpenOffice, we are unzipping the document file, manually removing all the OpenOffice specific metadata, verify if it conforms to the standard and then reassemble it. For many of the tests however, they are simply written from scratch in XML. So for all purposes, these tests can be considered as "hand written XML based on the specification". cheers Lotzi On 5/17/06, Bastian, Waldo wrote: > >Hello everyone, > > > >I'm Daniel Carrera from the OpenDocument Fellowship.
